Nike sold the famous Tesla shoes for 1500 dollars for pair
Black and red Nike sneakers with the Telsa logo on the sock, in which Elon Musk presented the new Tesla Model Y, were released by the California company DM Custom Sneakers. The company sewed a limited edition of such shoes, and it has already been completely sold out. At the same time, DM Custom Sneakers plans to produce another batch of these sneakers and sell them for $ 1500 per pair.
Story of the first pair
In fact, such a premiere was not planned either by Musk himself or by DM Custom Sneakers. It all began with the fact that a close friend of Elon Musk came to the company to make a special order for the birthday of his famous friend.
Using a pair of Nike Jordan 1, which served as canvas, the company’s specialists quickly got to work. They designed Tesla shoes. But nobody knew what was going to happen next. Nobody expected Elon to wear them in public, because — you know this entrepreneur — he doesn’t like gloss and chic usually.
But he showed up in them! In sneakers with the Tesla logo, Musk presented a new model of the Tesla Model Y electric car.
There was, of course, a global focus on Musk’s “Tesla shoes” that may have eclipsed everyone.
After a great influx of attention and interest in shoes, DM Customs decided to make six more pairs of Musk’s famous shoes. Sneaker collectors and Tesla fans can become part of the story by buying their own “Tesla shoes” for $ 1500.
By the way, this is exactly the amount that Elon’s friend paid for his gift.
Today, the limited collection has come to an end. But Tesla fans are still waiting for a common collaboration between Nike and Musk. Who knows, maybe we are still waiting for the second part of something grandiose!
